Manager of Digital Marketing for Beall’s Stores



As Manager of Digital Marketing you will lead the development, planning, execution and analysis of all paid digital marketing initiatives.  As leader of this team you will drive a digital presence through Bealls online website that will result in engaging new customers all while maximizing return on existing customers.  Specific attention will be paid to expanding the digital presence for eCommerce, however the position scope is total Bealls Stores—including brick and mortor. 


The Manager of Digital Marketing will enable rapid growth through proven and innovative strategies in a multi-channel environment through paid-search, SEO, affiliate, Consumer Shopping Engines and Product Listing Ads with a strong emphasis on assessing impact through data driven analysis. The ideal leader will have experience with online and offline marketing, making data-driven decisions and influencing others. The Manager of Digital Marketing must be motivated by a fast-paced environment, collaborative and driven to achieve results. 



  • Partner with leadership to define the eCommerce marketing strategy with innovative solutions.
  • Design a distinctive roadmap to achieve a competitive advantage through PPC, SEO, social, and affiliate marketing
  • Drive demand and growth from multiple sources, including free and paid search, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social, mobile and on-site placements.
  • Analyze of the customer research, sales results and online marketing effectiveness data.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing teams to manage a unified brand statement company-wide.
  • Lead and motivate vendors and teams to achieve business growth priorities.



  • 3+ years direct to consumer digital marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing channels (Direct, Social, Affiliate, E-Mail, and SEO)
  • BA or BS in Business, Marketing or similar field
  • Prior work experience on a large volume e-commerce website.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Solid analytical skills in both understanding marketing objectives and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Skilled in working in an omni-channel eCommerce environment.
  • Respond well to time critical requests.
  • Possess a clear understanding of retail math and financial measurements.
  • Demonstrated financial management, merchandising, analytical and assortment.
  • Ability to identify trends in the marketplace and think strategically.



  • 1 to 2 direct reports



  • Reports to the Divisional Vice President of Ecommerce
  • Extensive interaction with Buying, Planning, Allocation, Advertising, & eCommerce partners.



  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job duties
  • Must be able to sit 95% of the day to perform the essential job duties.
  • Must have full body rotation (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
